She was predeceased by: her mother Joan Metcalf (John); her daughter Renee Petree; her niece Courtney Cookus; her grandparents, John and Fern Milke (Workman); and her uncle Ronald Milke (Donna).
She is survived by: her husband Keith Buhr; her brother Rick Cookus; her parents-in-law, Arnold of Beatrice and Lois Buhr of Beatrice; her brother-in-law Arlan Buhr (Karen) of Omaha; her nieces, Lisa Cerveny (Brian) of Beatrice and Bethany Adams (Jordan) of Beatrice; and her cousins, David Milke of Beatrice and Rosemary Milke of Beatrice. She is also survived by three great nephews; two great nieces.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of the mortuary.
