She was predeceased by: her father Donald Deats; and her grandparents, Guy, Ida Deats, Ben and Anna Schmidt.
She is survived by: her mother Betty Schmidt Deats of Beatrice; her sons, Jason Hansen (Shawna) of Wichita, KS and Joshua Hansen of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Sydney Hansen, Taylor Hansen, Aaliyah Jacobs-Keller-Hansen and Ethan Hansen; her sister Debra Herink (Jay) of Omaha; her nephews, Benjamin Herink and Andrew Herink (Charlotte); and her niece Cate Knockenhauer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, Centenary United Methodist Church of Beatrice, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
