She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nelson and Louise Nelson (Ringen); her sisters-in-law, Connie Nelson and Lucille Boech; and her former husband Johnny Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth L. Thomas and Beverly J. Thomas of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Randa Meints (Scott) of Katy and Johnathan Thomas (Michelle Moore) of Beatrice; her great grandchildren, Chanceler Meints, Colton Meints and Braxton Moore; her brother Gary Nelson of Los Angeles, CA; and her niece Jennifer Nelson of Boston.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
