The memory of John E. Faxon of Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Egbert Faxon and Blanche Faxon (Shalla); his wife Audrey Bartlett; his son-in-law Bob McMahon; his great grandchild Cami Friedrichs; his sister Vona Lou Jones (Don); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Bartlett and Beverly Finch.
He is survived by: his children, Sarah McMahon of Salina, Dianne Faxon of Lincoln, John Faxon (Teresa) of Odell, Margaret Schotte (Steve) of Marysville, Steve Faxon (Janet) of Beatrice, Sheila Bargman (John) of Beatrice, Edward Faxon of Beatrice, Thomas Faxon (Paula) of Odell and Amy Morgan (Jon) of Gretna; his grandchildren, Samantha McMahon (Caleb Hines), Lindsay Mares, Kailey McMahon, Crystal Brincks (Jason), Melissa Friedrichs (Ryan) and J. D. Faxon (Payton); and his children, Austin Schotte, Zach Schotte, Maggie Schotte (Zach Otott), Derek Faxon, Jill Faxon, Hannah Greco (Nic), Meredith Rosenberry (Nate), Turner Faxon, Ashley Labenz (Jacob), Logan O'Connell (Ali Janssen), Macy O'Connell, Beau Morgan and Jaxon Morgan. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harman - Wright Mortuary (623 Elk St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of the mortuary.
