James Thornburg Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thornburg (Beatrice, Nebraska), who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Thornburg and Zella Thornburg (Barnard); his son Jay Alan Thornburg; his siblings, Leona Yarger (Monty) and Dean Thornburg; and his in-laws, William and Ida Krajnik.
He is survived by: his wife LoIda Thornburg; his son Jeff Thornburg; his daughter-in-law Michelle; his daughter Julie Klecan; his son-in-law Allen; his grandchildren, Connor, Andrew Klecan and Claire Thornburg; and his sister-in-law E'Linda Thornburg. He is also survived by several nephews and other extended family.
A memorial has been established to the Church and to the Courthouse Lights Fund with the funeral home in charge. A memorial has been established to First Christian Church and Gage County Foundation for Courthouse Lighting with the funeral home in charge.
