With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Hackel of Beatrice, Nebraska, born in Ord, Nebraska, who passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hackel and Lois Hackel (Nelson). He is survived by: his former wife Deanna Koons; his son Todd (Alissa) of Lenexa, KS; his grandchildren, Noah and Neve; his son Jason (Heidi) of Elkhorn; his grandchildren, Carter, Bowen and Harper (Paige); his son Jeff (Ashleigh) of Des Moines, IA; his grandchildren, Camden, Leighton and Palmer; and his siblings, Joyce Black of Beatrice, Marilyn Coston (Marty) of Maryville, MO and Eddie Hackel (Marlys) of Ord. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
