It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Fralin of Beatrice, Nebraska, born in Pawnee City, Nebraska, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Fralin and Ida Mae Fralin (Eitzen); his parents-in-law, Wilbur and Elsie Johnsen; his brothers-in-law, Roger Johnsen and Carroll "Butch" Podendorf; and his nieces, Jenifer Parde and Jennifer Fralin.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Fralin of Beatrice; his children, Lori Coon (Doug) of Beatrice and Bryan Fralin (Deb) of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Brianne Meissen (Ross) of Lincoln, Caleb of Beatrice, Mckenna Fralin of Beatrice and Evan Coon of Beatrice; his great grandchildren, Huxlee and Bowen Meissen of Lincoln; his siblings, Richard Fralin (Pam) of DeWitt, William Fralin (Karen) of Lampasas, TX, Patricia Podendorf of Beatrice, Janet Baxa of Seward and Gloria Cook (John) of Oketo, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Johnsen (Shelly) of Beatrice and Glenda Johnsen of Beatrice. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with the family greeting relatives and friends from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established to the family for future designation with Ron and Gloria Paben in charge.
