He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter T. Hofeling and Sophia Hofeling (Remmers); his son-in-law Tony Lenners; his siblings, Willy Hofeling and Marie Bartels (Pieper); his parents-in-law, Ubbe, Lottie Johnsen, Reinhard and Teda Jobman; and his siblings-in-law, Merlan Pieper, Leroy Bartels, Wilbur Johnsen (Elsie), Elmer Johnsen (Hanna) and Leland Johnsen.
He is survived by: his wife Christena Hofeling (Johnsen); his children, Raynard Jobman, Verdella Vetrovsky (Don), Phyllis Schoen (Gene) and Denise Lenners-Kleine (Steve); his grandchildren, Lisa Riha (Jeff), Staci Bettiker (Brian), Laurie Derickson (Brett), Ryan Jobman (Tracy), Mikaela Jobman, Brandon Schoen, Amber Schoen, Alicia Lenners, Brittany Gardner (Reed), Eric Kleine and Jared Kleine; his great grandchildren, Kameron, Karlee Riha, Jaxson, Mason Bettiker, Tegan, Justus, Marili Derickson, Elsie, Amelia Jobman, Zeondra Kleine and Jazlyn Garman; his sister Lydia Lindquist; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hofeling, Viola Trauernicht (Lorenz) and Bernice Parde. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery and the Beatrice Veterans Memorial Park with Don and Malinda Jobman in charge.
