It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold G. Jacot of Beatrice, Nebraska, born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Beryl A. Miller (Bliss); his parents, Earl Jacot and Nellie Jacot (Hamilton); and his parents-in-law, Ted and Wanda Bliss (Wickstrom).
He is survived by: his children, Deb Jacot of New Berlin, WI, Robbyn Haley (Michael) of Beatrice, Dr. Lori DuChene (John) of Anaconda, MT, Becky Long (Greg) of Mora, MN and Rachelle Schmidt (Craig) of Cortland; his grandchildren, Abbey Holthaus (Corey), Isaac Haley, Dr. Ashley Miller (Tanner Hardy), Hannah Miller (Colin Fritze), Jenny Long, Sophia Schmidt (KJ Downey), Evan, Isabella and Elias Schmidt; his great grandchild Walker Holthaus; his siblings, Dr. Earl Jacot (Elvera) of Baldwin, WI and Carol Landgren (Ryder) of Maplewood, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Bart Bliss (Ruth) of Yucaipa, CA, Brad Bliss of St. Michaels, MD, Bert Bliss (Dorie) of Stillwater, MN and Becky Damon (Steven) of Newton, KS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation.
