Grace Huttenmaier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Grace Huttenmaier of Beatrice, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Baehr and Gebka Baehr (Busboom); her husband Elmer Huttenmaier; her daughter Phyllis; her grandson Curtis Huttenmaier; her siblings, John Baehr (Grace), Henry Baehr (Geske), William Baehr (Emma), Thees Baehr (Ethel), Arnold Baehr (Lena), Ernest Baehr (Irene), Alfred Baehr (Jean), Bertha Meints (Chris), Teda Rathe (Hubert), Hattie Schuster and Emma Baehr; her parents-in-law, Charles and Mary Huttenmaier (Zimmerman); and her sister-in-law Francis Huttenmaier.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Huttenmaier (Shirley) of Beatrice, Daniel Huttenmaier (Teresa) of Topeka, KS, Greg Huttenmaier (Carla) of Tulsa, OK, Sandy Lyons of Beatrice and Doris Little of Beatrice. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1116 N 19th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A prayer was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (5142 E Sargent Rd, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice with Darlene Evers and Christena Hofeling in charge.
