He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Harrington and Ardyth Harrington (Cummings); his parents-in-law, George Lampe and Helen Lampe Thompson; his stepfather-in-law Grover Thompson; and his brother-in-law David Lampe.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Lampe of Beatrice; his daughter Sherri DeLong (Andy) of Lincoln; and his sister Loretta Street (Kent). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Beatrice, Cottonwood Hospice, and the Beatrice Community Food Pantry.
