Franklin Damrow Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2023, at the age of 101, Franklin Damrow of Beatrice, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Damrow and Marie Damrow (Kechley); his wife Betty Renner; and his siblings, Thomas A. Damrow and Esther Chermak.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Bartels of Lincoln, Peggy Hemphill (Steve) of Diller and James Damrow (Donna) of Sutton, NE; his grandchildren, Melissa Long (Jeff), Meagan Meininger (Scott), Jessica Moore (Chris), Derrick Damrow (Jessica), Dana Griess (Craig), Brooke Engelman (Adam), Patrick Hemphill (BriAnne) and Hayden Nutsch (Kolt); his great grandchildren, Rachel Long, Charlee, Sammy Meininger, Laurel, Travis Moore, Brevin, Pierce Damrow, Nathan, Brayden, Katelyn Griess, Allison, Preston, Sidney Engelman, Piper, Beckam Hemphill, Kutter Nutsch and Baby Nutsch; and his sisters, Ruby Augustine of Lincoln, Kathryn Overbeck of Montana and Marjorie Epp of Beatrice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial has been established St. Paul Lutheran Church, Diller, the Diller Community Foundation, and to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
