With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank E. Holtmeier (Beatrice, Nebraska), who passed away on June 10, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Holtmeier and Ida Holtmeier; and his siblings, Gerald Holtmeier, Melvin Holtmeier, Raymond Holtmeier, Robert Holtmeier, Donald Holtmeier and Marilyn Waltke.
He is survived by: his significant other Ruth Reel of Beatrice; his children, Richard Holtmeier (Eileen Breum) of Renton, WA, Jane Wullschleger (Kurt) of Fort Myers, FL, Debra Bigando (Mike) of Omaha, Cynthia Bettin (Roger) of Omaha and Mary Doghman (Mo) of Omaha; his sister Arlene Mahloch of New Braunfels, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Arlene Holtmeier of Austin, TX, Shirley Holtmeier of Berlin, WI and Alfred Waltke of Delafield, WI. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church of Beatrice or Lutheran World Relief for small farmers with Kirby Cohorst in charge.
