She was predeceased by: her parents, Harm Jurgens and Sophia Jurgens (Caspers); her husband Vernon Meints; her siblings, Harvey Jurgens (Wiona) and Elsie Zimmerman (Henry); and her siblings-in-law, Frederick Meints, Kenneth Albers and Viola Harms (Roy).
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Johnson (Steve) of Beatrice, Janie Vrtiska (Chris) of Eagle, Nancy Stumme (LeRoy) of Kearney and Neal Meints (Barbie) of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Josh Johnson (Andrea), Jaimie Sutter (Jeremy), Jerod Ideus (Cally), Jaci Ideus (Rita Machado), Cassie Boyer (Kurt), Lexi Zinnel (Ryan), Zac Meints (Britan) and Ben Meints; her stepgrandson Michael Stumme (Jayne); her great grandchildren, Garrett, Mason, Jack, Evelyn Boyer, Nixon Zinnel, McKendrick, Marlowe Sutter, Sophia Johnson, Burke and Kit Meints; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dalton, Quintin, Colin Hartig and Jordan Stumme; and her sisters-in-law, Vermina Albers of Phoenix, AZ and Alice Meints of Beatrice. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Zion Lutheran Church, Pickrell.
