She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas H. Damrow and Marie Damrow (Kechley); her daughter Marla Beth Knispel; her husbands, Alvin Knispel and Charles Chermak; her brother Thomas Damrow (Evelyn); and her siblings-in-law, Walter Lehmann, Harold Epp, Harlan Overbeck, Louise Splichal (Edward) and Judy Norbert.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Knispel (Judy) of Beatrice and Kimberly Maucher (Gerry) of Hayes Center, NE; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Mraz (Ryan), Susan Wecker (Seth), Benjamin Maucher (Taylor), Katie Sottiaux (Robert) and Jack Knispel (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Rylee, Jeremiah Mraz, Kinslee, Barrett Wecker, Gabriel and Graysen Maucher; her siblings, Franklin Damrow (Betty), Ruby Lehmann Augustine, Kathryn Overbeck and Marjorie Epp; her brother-in-law Harry Chermak (Shirley); and her friend Jeanne Harms. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces and cousins.
Masks and social distancing are required at all public activities.
A memorial has been established to St. John Lutheran Church, PEO Home, or the Paddock Lane PTO with the funeral home in charge.
