She was predeceased by: her parents, Harm Jurgens and Sophia Jurgens (Caspers); her husband Henry; her brother Harvey Jurgens (Wiona); and her brothers-in-law, Vernon Meints and Melvin Evers.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Zimmerman (Sandy) of Lincoln and Kathy Baete (Glen) of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Tammy O'Connell, Chris Baete (Bonnie), Heather Hardy (Boyd), Sommer Sejkora (Matt) and Tim Anderson; her sister Evelyn Meints of Beatrice; her siblings-in-law, Emma Evers of Beatrice and Melvin Zimmerman (Sharon) of Hickman; and her close friend Amy Otto. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Zion Lutheran Church of rural Pickrell.
