Donna R. Atkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna R. Atkins of Beatrice, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna R. Atkins to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Moren and Ruth Moren (Tilton); her husband Robert L. Atkins; her brother George Moren; her stepmother Florence Mayfield-Moren; and her stepsiblings, Jack Mayfield and Mary Tietjen.
She is survived by: her children, Howard Atkins of Hazel Green, AL, David Atkins (Carla) of Crete and Kris Atkins of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Stacey Atkins, Angela Lettow (Brian), Ashley Mills (David), Jessica Florez (Juan) and Nathan Atkins (Kari); and her stepsiblings, Jim Mayfield and Donna Schultz. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Community Church (2727 Lincoln St, Beatrice, NE 68310).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the YMCA, Willow Center of Beatrice, and Sheepgate (Adult and Teen Challenge) of Beatrice.
