She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Ruemelin and Effie Ruemelin (Dodson); her husband Thomas Keith Acton; her son-in-law John Plucknett; and her brothers, Bob and Lloyd Ruemelin.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Plucknett (Michael Johnson) of Grand Island, Gail Cunningham (Rusty) of Holmen, WI, Robin Thacker (Dennis) of Dawson, NE and Tom Acton (Rhonda) of Katy, TX; her granddaughter Leticia Vandehaar of New York; her children, Jared (Annette) of Omaha, Justin (Erica) of Louisville, Jordan (Laura) of Hiawatha, KS, Corey (Lauren) of Austin, TX, Courtney Bir (Ben) of Stillwater, OK and Ciara Gerick (Bryce) of Katy, TX; her great grandchildren, Annabelle and Jack Plucknett; and her grandchildren, Eliza, Estelle, Judah Plucknett and George Vandehaar.
A memorial has been established to the church with the funeral home in charge.
