He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Finch and Hazel Finch (Hemminger); his wife Beverly Finch (Bartlett); his sister Dorothy Doyle; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Dean Doyle, Myrlan Doyle and Audrey Faxon; and his son-in-law Jeff Calkin.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Engelman, Bradley Finch and Joyce Trout (Bill Lang); his grandchildren, Clayton Engelman (Amber), Stephanie Ellis (Tyler), Megan Overbeck (Jon), Justin Calkin (Caitlyn) and Morgan Trout; his great grandchildren, Emmaleigh and Bryson Engelman; his grandchildren, Hannah, Brayden, Kalib Stromer, Waylon Overbeck, Maci and Piper Ellis; and his sister Phyllis Doyle. He is also survived by his family, friends, countless school children.
A memorial has been established in Don's honor to Gage County 4-H Scholarships and the families choice with the funeral home in charge.
