He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Deines and Miriam Deines; his siblings-in-law, Everett and Eva Coleman; his brother LaVerne (Deacon); his sister-in-law Delores Deines; his nephew Randy Deines; and his siblings-in-law, Bill, Betty Norton, Duane Jamison, Feist and Gary Tomanek.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Coleman; his children, Mitch Deines (Colleen) of Beatrice, NE, Scott Deines (Geri Ann) of Fremont, NE and Jill Hedlund (Kelly) of Hays, KS.; his grandchildren, Jonathan Deines (Danielle) of Beatrice, NE, Jessica Wegner (Devon) of Lincoln, NE, Benjamin Deines (Natalie) of Bennington, NE, Blake Deines of Lincoln, NE, Conner Deines of Lincoln, NE, Kelsey Wasinger (Jared) of Manhattan, KS and Kyle Hedlund (Marina) of Gretna, NE.; his great grandchildren, Mia, Leo, Collins, Merritt, Dallas, Reid, Larson, Scarlett, Jetson, Jaxton and Kinsley; his sisters, Rosetta Jamison of Russell, KS and Gladys Feist of Great Bend, KS; and his sister-in-law Nancy Tomanek of WaKeeney, KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Cornerstone Lutheran Church and Cottonwood Hospice with the funeral home and Gene and Patty Lauritsen in charge.
