She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Nelson and Helen Nelson; and her brothers, Jan Nelson and Dean Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Donald of Beatrice; her children, Susan Sailors (Jeff) of Solon, IA, Mark Killman (Heather) of Leawood, KS and Amy Schroeder (Eric) of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren, Luke, Matthew, Alex, Amelia Killman of Leawood, KS, Derek and Erica Schroeder of Olathe, KS; and her sister Sheila Witfoth (Dennis) of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. A memorial has been established to the family for future designation.
