He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Busboom and Thelma Busboom (Parde); his parents-in-law, Ervin and Elva Parde; and his brother-in-law Randy Parde.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Busboom of Beatrice; his sons, Jeff Busboom (Jennifer) of Filley, Justin Busboom (Mavie) of Springfield, MO and Brett Busboom of Los Angeles; his grandchildren, Devon Busboom (Olivia) and Logan Busboom; his sisters, Linda Hooper (Gary) of Beatrice and Sandra Minnick (Michael) of Lincoln; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Bartels (Lorin) and Karen Parde. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Filley Cemetery Association and the American Lutheran Church of Filley with Don and Verdella Vetrovsky and Don and Malinda Jobman in charge.
