It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Thornburg of Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Thornburg and Zella Thornburg (Barnard); his sister Leona Yarger (Monty); and his sister-in-law Eleanor Haggard (Forrest). He is survived by: his wife E'Linda; his sons, Kim E. Thornburg (Connie) of Pickrell, NE, Kent A. Thornburg (Laura) of Whitney, NE, Kirk D. Thornburg (Denise) of Beatrice, NE and Mark E. Thornburg (Barb) of Papillion, NE; his grandchildren, Wade Thornburg (Emily), Cassie Thornburg, Rebeca Thornburg, Tyson Thornburg, Angelina Thornburg, Jenna Larsen (Jonas), Jessi Remmers (Jarod), Liz Bartholomew (Brett), Zander Thornburg (Jeremy Vinton), Gabby Alfrey (Brett) and Ben Thornburg (Jenna); and his brother JT Thornburg (LoIda) of Beatrice. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the First Christian Church with the funeral home in charge.
