He was predeceased by: his parents, George Freitag and Edith Greider Freitag; his wife Marge of Fairbury; his son Douglas; his son-in-law Jack; and his siblings, Dwaine Freitag, Mary Kunc and Joyce Cordry (Ken).
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Stephens of Winston-Salem and Kristyn Pishny (John) of Fairbury; his grandchildren, Nathan Stephens, Heather Stephens of Winston-Salem, Michaela Bowles (Zachary) of Mesa and Emily Garcia (Junior) of Arlington, Nebraska.; and his brother-in-law Bohman Kunc of Salina.
