She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jack" Root and LaVonne Root (Fox); her husband Donald "Wrenchy" Riensche; her daughter Cheri Lytle; her grandsons, Jake Cookus and Justin Ankersen; her great grandchild Lennox Reign Bivens; and her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Voter and Sharon Root.
She is survived by: her children, Angel Cookus (Jimmy) of Wymore and Chad Leseberg (Carrie) of Beatrice; her stepchildren, Alan Riensche (Janet) of Blue Springs and Vicki Sorensen (Tom) of Crete; her son-in-law David Lytle of Wymore; her grandchildren, Chelsea Guiffre (Justin), Colton Lytle, Jaxon Lytle, Austin Cookus (Angel), Jordan Cookus, Ashley Anderson, Whitney Leseberg, Tyler Sasse (Elliot), Collin Leseberg, Ryan Riensche, Sean Riensche, Tara Rains (Nathan), Eric Thornburg (Amber), Macy Lenertz (Evan), Brooke Sorensen and Bailey Sorensen; her brother Bob Root of Arizona; and her siblings-in-law, Geneva Cramer of Beatrice, Darlene Schuerman (Wayne) of Lincoln and Ron Voter of Washington, Kansas. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
