He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leon Freese and Alida Freese (Brandt); his wife Sandy; his daughters, Kristina Zeilinger (Joe Anderson) of Beatrice, Elizabeth Fandl (Justin) of Lincoln and Cassandra Freese of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Charlee, Layla, Nora, Zoey and Maddox; his niece Jenn Lesko (Jon) of Westfield, Indiana; and his siblings, Mark Freese (Marlys) of Lincoln, Julie Nelson (Mark) of Lincoln and Neal Freese (Linda) of Plymouth. He was also cherished by 2 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; and several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorials are suggested to Christ Lutheran Church in Beatrice in care of the mortuary.
