She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Parde and Elva Parde (Lenners); her brother Randy Parde; and her brother-in-law Dennis Busboom. She is survived by: her husband Lorin Bartels, Jr. of Beatrice; her daughters, Jenny Busboom (Paul) of Pickrell and Kelli Arens (Randy) of Grand Island; her grandchildren, Evan (Olivia Jamison), Alex, Kiera Busboom, Andrew, Ella and Anna Arens; her sisters, Vicki Busboom of Beatrice and Karen Parde of San Diego; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Bartels (Janet) and Judy Cihal. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:45 AM and at 10:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church of Filley (305 Livingston St, Filley, NE 68357).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation.
