She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie White and Bertha White (Shelley); her son Larry Gritz; her siblings, Les White (Eva), Mary Scheele (Don), Verna Clement, Marvin and Bobby Wayne White; her father-in-law Walter Gritz (Constance); and her brothers-in-law, Dean Picolet and Leonard Collins.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Gritz of Beatrice; her daughter Brenda Hippen (Dennis) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Stephanie Whitlinger (Justin Larsen) of Hickman, Justin Hippen (Heather) of Virginia, Nicole Behrends (Jacob) of Cortland and Connie Brady (Justin) of Beatrice; her great grandchildren, Kinley Whitlinger, Everett, Canaan Larsen, Mason, Logan Hippen, Jace, Carson and Henry Behrends; and her siblings, Eldon White (Janetta Frerichs), David White (Rita), Samuel White (Norma), Becky Picolet and Karen Collins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
