Barbara Wherry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Wherry of Beatrice, Nebraska, born in Fairbury, Nebraska, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Wherry; her parents, Louis Hohensee and Doris Hohensee (Jones); her great grandchild Carissa; her siblings, Marilyn Heise, Dennis and Kenny Hohensee; and her siblings-in-law, Vickie Hohensee, Jerry Farnsworth, Ron Kier and Joan Vanover (Bill).
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Clark (Hayes) of Beatrice, Deb Bodtke of York and Teresa Barbana (Jim) of Wymore; her grandchildren, Evan Bodtke (Jessica), Crystal Everett, Curtis Everett (Tasha), Brandon Robinson and Brent Robinson (Lexi); her great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Baby Bodtke, April, Chance, Shelby, Annabelle and Olivia; and her siblings, Roger Hohensee (Linda), Ron Hohensee (Gloria Henderson), Larry Hohensee (Linda), Mark Hohensee (Bev), Joyce Farnsworth and Gail Kier.
The lying in state was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home (505 N 9th St, Wymore, NE 68466). A prayer was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Wymore United Methodist Church (121 S 10th St, Wymore, NE 68466). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barb Wherry.
