She was predeceased by: her sons, David Thornburg and Michael Thornburg; her parents, Herman Waltke and Helen Waltke (Ottersberg); her siblings, Robert Waltke and Mildred Adams; and her siblings-in-law, Delores Thornburg, Edward Parde and Edwin Schuster.
She is survived by: her husband Vern Thornburg of Beatrice; her daughter Betty Thornburg of Beatrice; her daughter-in-law Lora Thornburg of Blair; her grandchildren, Cranston Thornburg (Sarah) of Plainview, Trenton Thornburg (Lacey) of Ashland and Kendra Forsen (Johnathan) of Blair; her siblings, Annie Parde of Beatrice, Eleanor Schuster of Beatrice and Herman Waltke (Caroline) of Beatrice; and her brothers-in-law, Howard Thornburg of Beatrice and Les Adams of Beatrice. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
