Arlen W. Nies Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nies and Ethel Nies (Hubka); his parents-in-law, Elmer and Catherine Jurgens; his brother-in-law Marvin Roebke; and his sister Shirley Roebke (Jim McPheron).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jurgens of Beatrice; his daughters, Brenda Brethouwer (Scott) of Beatrice and Kimberly Harder (John Patsch) of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Amber Black (Josh), Dustin "Buckshot" Brethouwer, Beth Rohr (Dustin), Bobbie Bean and Danni Harder; his sister Billie Jean Miller (Rick); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Jurgens (Bette), Keith Jurgens (Connie) and Sandra Baehr (Jim). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Veterans Club of Beatrice and the Beatrice Fire Department.
