With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alvin L. Juilfs of Beatrice, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Juilfs and Catharina Schottler Juilfs; his former wife Christel Gabbert; and his siblings, Anke, Kate, Margarete Bodenberg (Paul), Beate Porter, Christian Juilfs, Ludwig Juilfs (Wanda) and Gerhard Juilfs (Ingrid).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Curtis of Beatrice; his children, John Juilfs (Melanie) of Tahlequah, OK and Karen Heath of Lincoln; his stepchildren, Shawn St (Lisa), Paul St (Michelle) and Carrie Olson of Lincoln; and his siblings-in-law, Gertrude Juilfs of Germany and John Porter of France. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Community Food Bank of Beatrice.
