It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Dean Penkava of Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rose and Antonie Rose (Vetrovsky); his wife Erma Jean; his in-laws, Rudolph and Mary Kalina; his siblings, Vic (Frances), Frank (Grace), Jerry (Oliva), Lester (Agnes), Ed (Delores), Elmer (Dorothy), Emilie (Louis Hubka), Millie (Karl Znamenacek), Irene (Art Blecha) and Helen (Ernie Hoemann); and his siblings-in-law, Elsie Wenzbauer (Lawrence) and Marvin "Pud" Kalina (Twila).
He is survived by: his sister Elma Lee Buchholz of Table Rock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
