He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Laeger and Leona Laeger; his wife Janice; his siblings, Paul, Agnes Buskirk, Ruth and Duane Laeger; and his grandson Keith McMurtry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly (Mitchell Humphrey), Kathy Laeger, Karen (Ty King), Kristi (Ralph Lawler) and Kande (Jeff Hack); his grandchildren, Korey McMurtry, Tyler, Brittany Humphrey, Robert King, Amber, Mike Timme, Brandt, Jessica Humphrey, Darren Lawler, Morgan, Lane Turner and Jeremy Lawler; his great grandchildren, Kaliber King and Axel Humphrey; his sister Alvera Brening; and his siblings-in-law, Harry Brown, George Kaufman, Don Roth, Loretta Roth, Joyce Brown, Eldrie Frank, Colleen Laeger and Sandra Howard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
