He is survived by: his children, Michelle Fries (Chris) of Gering and Ethan McDaniel of Scottsbluff; his siblings, Carolyn Annen (John) of Hemingford and Rich McDaniel (Cyndi Buchmeier) of Bayard; his granddaughters, Audrey Fries of Kearney and Abbigail Fries of Greeley, CO; his niece Melissa Annen of Hemingford; his great-nieces, Kinzee and Madison Swanson; and his great-nephew Payton Swanson.
