She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Spanner and Ruth Spanner (Pike); her husband Alvin VanBriggle; her in-laws, Lowell and Frances VanBriggle; and her granddaughter Terri Conklin.

She is survived by : her children, Mike VanBriggle (Deb) of Acworth, GA, Jeannette McGowan (Mike) of Cheyenne, WY and Judy Wooden (Greg) of Cheyenne, WY; her grandchildren, Michelle Allen (David) of Douglasville, GA, Ryan Conklin (Sara) of Sunbury, OH, Kristen Weeks (Bryan) of Littleton, CO, Amanda Orewiler (Tim) of Rockmart, GA, Sherry Conklin of Marathon, FL, Melissa Wooden of Greeley, CO and Lea Smithson (Rob) of Monroe, GA; her great grandchildren, Michael Allen, Mason, Jacob Conklin, Weston, Ethan, Cooper Weeks, Katherine, Kimber, Cody Orewiler, Isabel Beck, Madi, Maddox, Macy McLarty, Ryan and Evan Smithson; her sisters, Emae Wherry (Art) and Pam Steimle (Bill); and her siblings-in-law, Jim Parette, Marilyn VanBriggle, Orlan VanBriggle (Colleen) and Annette Lyon (Dennis). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bridgman Funeral Home (2104 Broadway, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
