He was predeceased by: his parents, Perfecto V Garcia and Agapita Garcia (Sermano); his daughter Mary Ellen Dorador; his son-in-law Mike Ferreyra; his brothers-in-law, Jose Zamarripa and Carlos Cerda; his sister Mary Antonia Garcia; and his great-nieces, Desirae Garcia and Liliana Marquez-Arrellano.
He is survived by: his sisters, Cora Zamarripa and Maria Garcia. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
