He is survived by: his children, Kyle (Diane Hawthorne), Kayla (Todd Roberts) and Kent (Theresa Hawthorne); and his sister Bernadine Batenhorst of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
