She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Ahlman (Geske) and Albert Ahlman; her siblings, Evelyn Bettini, Alvin Ahlman and Charles Ahlman; and her granddaughter Grace Lois Hirz.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar John (E. John); her children, John Jay Werner, David George Werner of Battle Creek, Cheryl Jean Ballard (Kevin) of North Mankato, MN and Janie Lois Hirz (Gregg) of Omaha; her grandchildren, David John Werner, Christa Kaus (Jon), KC Ballard (Becca), Julianna Hirz and Jack Hirz; her great grandchildren, Braylon, Gracelyn Werner, Lydia, Henry, Silas, Allison Kaus, Charlie, Audrey and Ethan Ballard; and her sister-in-law Anna Blank of Madison, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (305 S 2nd St, Battle Creek, NE 68715). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
