He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Sanger and Zerelle Sanger (Peterson); his wife Bonnie Kapperman; his in-laws, Harry and Ella Mae Kapperman; and his brother Larry.
He is survived by: his son Jeff (Kelly) of Broken Bow; his grandchildren, Paul and Joelle of Lincoln; his daughter Vicki (George Friedrich) of Bassett; his grandchildren, Alyx (John Klosterman) of Bassett and Jake (Lacey Friedrich) of Bassett; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Aiden Klosterman and Haven Friedrich; and his brother-in-law Garry Marcellus of Atlantic, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
