He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Witt and Margaret Witt (Luedert); his wife Charlotte Bierschenk; his sisters, Eva Appleton (Harry) and Florence Nielsen (Harold); and his brother-in-law Ora Underwood.
He is survived by: his daughter Garnet Gabriel (Brad) of Douglas, NE; and his granddaughter Jami Gabriel of Douglas, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
