It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Milrae L. Petersen of Axtell, Nebraska, born in Minden, Nebraska, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Favinger and Esther Favinger (Jensen); her husband Lavern Petersen; her son Mike Petersen; and her siblings, Ione Rammagie and Don Favinger.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Petersen, Doug Petersen of Axtell and Jeff Petersen of Axtell; her grandchildren, Mitch Petersen (Kenna), Emalie Petersen (Jamie), Ellie Petersen and Reggie Petersen (Merissa); her great grandchild Maverick Petersen; and her sisters, Mardell Bailey and Marsha Bjorklund. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and close friends.
