It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Jensen of Avoca, Nebraska, born in Weeping Water, Nebraska, who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Jensen and Edna Jensen (Salling); and his brother Ernest Jensen. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jensen (Knake); his daughter Joni Petersen (Randy Petersen); his grandchildren, Amanda Dutton (Dan Dutton), Rachel Petersen and Lindsey Baggan (Zinski Baggan); his son Rodger Jensen (Merry Jensen); his grandchildren, Alex Jensen, Madison Jensen and Jamie Jensen; his daughter Judi Pavelka (Tom Pavelka); his grandchild Charlie Koch (Jessica Koch); his son Mark Jensen (Camille Jensen); his grandchildren, Sydney Jensen, Katelyn Jensen and Nolan Jensen; his daughter Jane Rhodes (John Rhodes); and his grandchildren, Timothy Goepfert (Amy Goepfert), Fischer Rhodes and Sayler Rhodes. He is also survived by kids and their thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
