He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel E. Ross and Blanche M. Ross (Kissel); his wife Cindy (Eich); his son Kelly Jay Ross (Ryan); and his sisters, Beverly Blue (Ross) and Deanna Cooley (Ross).

He is survived by: his children, Valerie Bollard (Ross) of Redmond, OR, Ryan Ross (Sheri) of Sioux City, IA, Kip Jensen (Marion) of Decatur, GA, Kealei Castle (Jim) of Douglasville, GA and Dick Jensen (Penny) of Dallas, GA; and his brother Doyle Ross of Apache Junction, AZ. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
