She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Atkins and Patsy Atkins; her grandparents, Bernard and Mildred Nye; and her sister Vickie Eman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Corley of Lakewood, CO and Aaliyah Atkins of Kearney, NE; her sisters, Norma Glenn of Troutdale, OR, Jeanie Norton of Ainsworth, NE, Mary Atkins of Lincoln and Patricia Brutus of Lincoln; and her aunt Jean Langston of Columbia, MS.. She is also survived by grandson, two great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial Hospital Aurora, NE.
