He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley R. Fassnacht and Bertha Fassnacht (Roemer); his wife Iola M. Peterson; his siblings, Louise Hasenkamp (Warren), Byrdene Thompson (Archie), Harley P., Dwight Fassnacht (Margel), Naomi Fassnacht and Wallace; his son-in-law Barry Elder; and his niece Janet Adams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Glenell Ratzlaff (Ralph) of Henderson, Joleen Gustafson (David) of Wakefield and Teresa Elder-Smith (Kirt Smith) of Hampton; and his granddaughters, Katherine Elder and Elizabeth Smith of Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date.
