She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Nye and Mildred Nye (Garrett); her husband Gene C. Atkins; and her daughter Vickie Eman. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Atkins of Aurora, Norma Glenn of Troutdale, OR, Jeanie Norton of Ainsworth, NE, Mary Atkins of Duncan, OK and Patricia Brutus of Lincoln; and her sister Jean Langston of Columbia, MS. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial Hospital in Aurora, NE.
