He was predeceased by: his mother March; his daughters, Joan Teresa and Rachel Brummund; his sisters, Alice Higby (Vernon) and Ethel Johansen (Arvid); his brother-in-law E. M. Grella; his nephew Larry Higby; and his niece Judy Roehrs.
He is survived by: his spouse Frances Louise Grella; his children, Roger Christensen of Aurora, Rose Martin (Mark) of Hayward, CA and Christine Garraway (Christopher); his grandchildren, Jennifer Thomas (Brian), Yvonne Carlson (Chad), Angela Reisdorph (JT), James Martin, Shawn Djernes, Melisa Mendez (Hugo), Stephanie Frauendorfer (Aaron Chapman), David, Jr. Frauendorfer (Amanda) and Daniel Frauendorfer; his great grandchildren, Kyle, Kaleb Thomas, Kyla, Caden, Jenna, Ryan Carlson, Sydney, Jackson Reisdorph, Maximus, Monica, Xavier Mendez, Grace, Mason, Colton Chapman, Peyton and Cooper Frauendorfer; his sister Elvera Willcock (Dwight) of Stockham; and his sister-in-law Jayme Grella. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
