It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ekhoff of Aurora, Nebraska, born in Massena, Iowa, who passed away on February 10, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Byrd and Marilyn Byrd (Hackwell). She is survived by: her husband Jerry Ekhoff of Aurora; her children, Brock (Renee) of Aurora, Kory Ekhoff (Heather) of Aurora and Hillary Fuhrman (Keith Brown) of Central City; her grandchildren, Morgan, Ford Ekhoff, Kinleigh Ekhoff, Hope Fuhrman, Cameron Orsburn (Kelly) and Heather Kozak (Mitch); her great grandchild CeCe Kozak; and her siblings, Jo Helgeson (Scott), Ed Byrd (Robin) and John Byrd (Peggy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other friends and relatives.

Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date.
