It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Goertzen of Aurora, Nebraska, born in Stockham, Nebraska, who passed away on September 10, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham J. Goertzen and Minnie Friesen Goertzen; and his brothers, Milton and Everett Goertzen. He is survived by: his wife Mavis Emeline Van Housen of Aurora; his children, Michael Goertzen (Teri) and Deana Anderson (Tim); his siblings, Johnny Goertzen (Donna), Denton Goertzen, Josephine Troutman, Elizabeth Bicknase, Amanda Williams (Marvin) and Marlene Watton (Bob); and his sister-in-law Erma Goertzen. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
